About the Role

North Vector Dynamics Inc. is seeking a European Sales and Partnerships leader on a part-time, 0.5 FTE basis. This fully remote role is for a senior operator to open and develop the European market for a defence technology portfolio by building relationships with defence ministries, prime contractors, and strategic partners across the continent.

What You'll Do

  • Own the full European sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close, focusing on defence and government customers across the UK, Germany, France, and allied nations.
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with European defence primes, system integrators, and in-country resellers.
  • Build direct relationships with key decision-makers inside European defence ministries, procurement agencies, and allied military commands.
  • Lead the development of tailored proposals, capability briefings, and RFP responses for European defence customers.
  • Navigate the regulatory and compliance landscape of European defence sales, including export control requirements and country-specific procurement rules.
  • Work closely with our engineering and product teams to ensure our solutions are positioned accurately and competitively in each target market.
  • Represent North Vector Dynamics at European defence exhibitions, industry events, and government forums.
  • Surface market intelligence on competitor activity, procurement cycles, and emerging opportunities.
  • Step into whatever the mission demands in a startup environment.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10 years of experience in defence or government sales with a demonstrable track record of closing complex, high-value deals in European markets.
  • Established relationships within the European defence and security ecosystem, with governments, military organisations, or defence prime contractors.
  • Deep familiarity with European defence procurement processes, including NATO frameworks and EU defence initiatives.
  • A hunter’s instinct, energized by building pipelines from scratch and navigating long, relationship-driven sales cycles.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to brief senior military officers and ministry officials.
  • Based in Europe with the ability to travel regularly across the region.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action.

Nice to Have

  • Military background is a strong asset; candidates with prior service in the Canadian Armed Forces, allied militaries, or NATO-member forces are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Proficiency in one or more European languages (German, French, or Polish preferred).
  • Familiarity with export control regulations relevant to defence sales in Europe, including ITAR/EAR.
  • Experience working in a startup, scale-up, or emerging defence technology company.
  • Post-secondary education in international business, political science, engineering, or a related field.
