The EUC Engineer provides high-quality technical solutions for end-user devices within managed services, focusing on cloud and hybrid implementations using Microsoft Modern Workplace tools. Reporting to the EUC Manager, the role acts as a bridge between support engineers and senior architects, ensuring solutions are scalable, sustainable, and thoroughly documented.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reliable technical solutions for end-user devices to managed services clients
- Onboard and support cloud and hybrid environments using Microsoft Modern Workplace platforms
- Manage devices using Microsoft Endpoint Manager, including Intune, SCCM, and Autopilot
- Serve as the primary technical expert for End User Computing within the team
- Design long-term, scalable solutions rather than temporary fixes
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and consistent operational processes
- Act as a key liaison between frontline support and senior technical architects
Requirements
- Solid technical background in cloud services
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Proven experience collaborating and analyzing to enhance end-user technology environments
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft technologies such as Windows 10 and 11, Endpoint Manager (Intune, ConfigMgr, Autopilot), Microsoft Azure/Azure AD, and Microsoft 365
- Hands-on experience managing Apple devices (iOS and macOS) and Android platforms
- Comprehensive understanding of Windows desktop client administration
- Proficiency in PowerShell for scripting and automation tasks
- Foundational knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure
- Strong time management and analytical problem-solving skills
- Minimum of three years in a 3rd line or equivalent technical support position
- Experience handling Incident, Problem, and Change Management in complex IT environments
- Microsoft certifications or a commitment to obtain MS-102, MD-102, AZ-104, SC-900, or AZ-140
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Microsoft security-related products
- Knowledge of ITIL v3 or v4 frameworks
- Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 technologies
- Prior experience supporting multiple clients in an international setting
