Schlumberger is hiring an ETO Electrical Engineer to support the Engineering Lead in the full lifecycle development of electrical systems for large-scale hyperscale data centers. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical scope from initial design and construction through final testing and commissioning.
What You'll Do
- Review and approve electrical drawings, documentation, and specifications for compliance and manufacturing support.
- Lead design planning sessions to meet customer and industry requirements.
- Prepare technical requisitions for electrical systems, fire protection, and related components.
- Evaluate vendor quotations and provide technical feedback to procurement.
- Develop electrical engineering deliverables including load lists, cable schedules, single-line diagrams, and system calculations.
- Design earthing and grounding protection systems.
- Conduct lighting system design and photometric studies.
- Generate bulk material take-offs and detailed bills of materials.
- Identify and implement innovative, cost-reducing solutions without compromising quality or schedule.
- Stay current with industry developments and recommend updates to engineering programs.
- Execute assignments independently, make technical decisions, and represent the organization in client meetings.
- Apply advanced engineering knowledge to resolve complex issues and unique project conditions.
- Operate with minimal supervision, guided by broad project goals.
- Analyze electrical systems for load balancing, capacity planning, and power optimization.
- Recommend emerging technologies to enhance data center reliability and efficiency.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, addressing inquiries professionally.
- Provide on-site technical support during construction, responding to RFIs and resolving field issues.
- Participate in job site visits, project meetings, and commissioning activities.

You will support the Engineering Lead and Product Engineering Manager, reporting directly to them as part of the project engineering team.
