What You'll Do
Shape the long-term direction of an expanding agricultural initiative by turning strategic goals into measurable field outcomes. You will lead the design and execution of multi-year impact models, ensuring that every intervention is grounded in data and tailored for scalability.
Develop and manage a structured learning agenda that identifies critical annual questions, sets clear objectives, and prioritizes high-impact opportunities—such as introducing high-value tree species or improving nursery productivity. Oversee the full trial lifecycle, from hypothesis and budget planning to staff training and operational implementation, ensuring insights are translated into actionable decisions.
Collaborate closely with monitoring and evaluation teams to analyze field data and guide leadership on whether to expand, refine, or discontinue programs. Lead feasibility studies to shift the organization from a donor-dependent model to one driven by earned revenue, assessing regulatory frameworks and operational needs.
Support a national network of nursery managers by enhancing production techniques and identifying new income streams. You will also explore partnerships with research institutions to strengthen seed systems and improve crop performance.
