The Ethical Auditor will perform on-site assessments across factories and supplier locations in Jinhua, Zhejiang. The primary responsibility is to evaluate operations against established ethical, environmental, and regulatory benchmarks. Each audit will focus on labor practices, health and safety, and compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out comprehensive ethical audits at production and supply chain facilities
- Verify alignment with recognized frameworks such as SA8000, BSCI, WRAP, and SMETA
- Review compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations
- Document findings and prepare detailed, accurate audit reports
- Present results and insights to clients and relevant parties
Qualifications
- Holding a degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences, or a related discipline
- Demonstrated understanding of standards including SA8000, ISO14001, ICTI, C-TPAT, BSCI, and WRAP
- Proven background in third-party auditing with recent experience
- Practical experience conducting environmental audits
- Completion of SMETA, BSCI, SA8000, WRAP, or combined audits within the past year
- Fluency in spoken English
