Construction & Property Group is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in New York City construction projects. You will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates by reviewing complex construction drawings and working directly with customers to define scope and pricing.
What You'll Do
- Review architectural, structural, and MEP drawings to prepare accurate construction estimates.
- Develop detailed leveling sheets and cost breakdowns for bids and proposals.
- Analyze materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs specific to NYC construction standards.
- Communicate directly with customers to clarify scope, requirements, and pricing.
- Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimate accuracy.
- Track revisions, change orders, and scope adjustments during the bidding process.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Estimator in NYC construction.
- Hands-on experience using BLUEBEAM.
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Experience preparing detailed leveling sheets.
- Excellent customer communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in estimating tools, spreadsheets, and construction software.
