Ziff Davis Shopping is hiring an ERP & Finance Applications Lead to own all technical and functional resources for customizing and optimizing our finance platforms, including NetSuite. Serving as the bridge between Finance leadership and technical delivery teams, you will ensure our systems are scalable, compliant, and aligned with business goals.
What You'll Do
- Own the roadmap for all finance and accounting platforms, including NetSuite, expense systems, procurement tools, and reporting platforms.
- Partner with Finance leadership to align system capabilities with business objectives.
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation, integration, and process optimization.
- Lead internal developers, analysts, and administrators who customize and configure NetSuite.
- Manage relationships with third-party consultants, integrators, and support vendors.
- Oversee workload prioritization, sprint planning, and resource allocation.
- Direct all NetSuite customization, scripting, workflows, and integrations with other systems like CRM, HRIS, and payment processors.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and security policies.
- Approve architecture changes, data model updates, and integration designs.
- Lead system upgrades, new module implementations, and integration projects.
- Implement governance for change requests, testing, and release management.
- Develop and maintain documentation for processes, configurations, and customizations.
What We're Looking For
- 5–8+ years of NetSuite administration, customization, or development experience.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including GL, AP, AR, FP&A, and revenue recognition.
- Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional technical teams.
- Expertise with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and NetSuite integrations.
- Background in project management or SDLC for business applications.
Nice to Have
- Experience with related finance tools such as Coupa, Concur, Tipalti, FloQast, or Avalara.
- NetSuite Administrator or ERP Consultant certifications.
