What You'll Do
As the HR Lead for NIRA, you'll shape and manage People Operations across India, based in Bangalore. You’ll oversee critical HR functions including payroll, benefits administration, and daily people processes, ensuring they align with local regulations and global standards.
You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, guiding them through performance discussions, career development, and workplace challenges. You'll lead and grow a local HR team, fostering capability and ownership while maintaining strong data integrity and reporting practices.
Collaborating closely with global People teams, you'll support hiring, onboarding, and scaling initiatives that enable sustainable growth. Your work will help build a compliant, efficient, and human-centered employee experience across time zones and cultures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years in HR roles with proven experience in Indian labor law, statutory compliance, and payroll systems
- Strong track record managing full-cycle HR operations within scaling organizations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, coach individuals, and build trust across levels
- Deep knowledge of Indian employment regulations including PF, ESI, gratuity, and labor codes
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and evolving priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders globally
