Mount Sinai Health System is hiring an Epic Cogito Report Analyst III to join our Enterprise Data & Analytics team. This role is responsible for the independent development and modification of reports using Epic-recommended Cogito tools and custom operational reporting solutions. You will lead initiatives to enhance our system's reporting capabilities and ensure end-users have access to meaningful data.
What You'll Do
- Identify, analyze, and implement reporting process workflows to ensure users obtain the reports they need.
- Develop report specifications based on user requirements and establish standards for consistent report development.
- Prioritize and implement changes requested for developed reports, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot problems from users and act as a point of escalation for complex multi-system issues.
- Thoroughly review and test each new system release, communicating changes before user access.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of the system and provide guidance to other staff on issue analysis and solution development.
- Ensure appropriate documentation is in place for all reports.
- Anticipate ongoing work and take ownership of the entire process, while organizing and leading work for other team members.
- Perform other related duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Information Technology/Computer Science and/or a clinical healthcare discipline, including report writing and analysis.
- Proficiency with Epic Cogito Tools and other Report Writer software.
- Experience working on medium to large sized systems projects in a technology-driven environment.
- Ability to create content to display Epic data using front-end tools (Radar Dashboards, Reporting Workbench (RWB), Cogito SQL (RWB SQL), SlicerDicer) and back-end tools (Clarity - Oracle, Caboodle – SQL).
- Epic Cogito Certification and extensive experience with Epic Reporting and Analytics, particularly Epic Hyperspace Cogito tools.
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Critical thinking and an analytical mind with a user-focused design and data visualization aptitude.
- Proficiency with Oracle/SQL, relational database concepts, and analytics tools.
- Experience in managing projects, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Optime.
- Experience with SlicerDicer model implementation/administration.
- Epic Clinical Data Model Certification.

Benefits & Compensation
- Annual salary range: $99,200.00 - $148,800.00
