What You'll Do
Analyze player activity and in-game events to understand how users interact with mobile games. You'll extract and interpret data to track performance trends, focusing on engagement, retention, and monetization metrics. Design and run A/B tests to evaluate new features and gameplay changes, measuring their real-world impact.
Create and manage dashboards that monitor key indicators such as daily active users, churn, and revenue per user. Use SQL to query large datasets and deliver clear summaries of findings to product, marketing, and development teams. Identify patterns in user behavior and suggest data-backed improvements to enhance the gaming experience.
Requirements
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or have relevant industry experience
- Have hands-on experience in data analysis, preferably in the mobile gaming sector
- Demonstrate strong SQL skills, including writing, optimizing, and debugging complex queries
- Be proficient with data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI
- Communicate technical results clearly to non-technical audiences
- Be fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Bring a genuine interest in mobile games and familiarity with core gaming KPIs like DAU, MAU, ARPU, and retention rates
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience applying statistical methods to analyze user data
- Familiarity with game analytics tools like GameAnalytics or Firebase
Technical Stack
