The Epic Analyst II plays a key role in supporting and enhancing Epic systems, primarily for nephrology practices using the CKD module. Working in a mostly remote environment, this position ensures system stability, supports ongoing implementations, and collaborates with clinical and administrative stakeholders to optimize workflows.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and respond to incidents and service requests in ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with requesters
- Manage team workqueues and error logs, maintaining accurate documentation of issues and solutions
- Support system upgrades, including build adjustments, testing, and validation within Epic environments
- Collaborate with end users and subject matter experts to gather requirements, refine workflows, and implement enhancements
- Assist in implementation phases—design, testing, go-live—providing build support and troubleshooting integrated workflows
- Engage with third-party vendors to configure and validate interfaces and real-time eligibility processes
- Document and migrate system configurations across environments using tools like Nova, Orion, and Asana
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
- At least three years of experience in healthcare IT or clinical operations
- Familiarity with Patient Access, Scheduling, or Front Desk workflows in a medical setting
- Proficiency with ServiceNow for incident tracking and resolution
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Current Epic certification required, with Professional Billing Claims certification mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating Real-Time Eligibility (RTE) vendors and managing Referrals/Authorization workflows
- Additional Epic certification in Professional Billing Admin is preferred
