Jobgether is seeking an Environmental Project Director to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex environmental remediation projects across the United States and its territories. In this remote role, you will manage all technical and administrative project aspects, oversee teams, ensure compliance, and deliver projects on schedule and within budget while contributing to business development.

What You'll Do

Manage technical and administrative aspects of environmental remediation projects, including CERCLA Remedial Actions (RAs), Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and long-term monitoring (LTM) phases.
Lead, direct, and mentor project managers and team members to ensure quality project execution and deliverables.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and scope to meet corporate and client expectations.
Communicate effectively with clients, regulators, project teams, and company leadership.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful outcomes.
Support business development initiatives, including leading or assisting with proposals.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
15+ years of hands-on experience managing environmental remediation projects for federal clients.
Experience with soil, sediment, mine waste remediation, in-situ and ex-situ groundwater treatment, and landfill or thermal remediation.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Project) and project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
Ability to travel up to 35% to support project sites.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Experience with USACE 3-phase Quality Control process and RMS Information Management System is highly desirable.
Experience with residential yard Remedial Actions for lead in soil, PFAS/PFOA projects, or mining/sediment remediation is a strong plus.
