Responsibilities
- Conducting environmental field work, including water level measurements and collection of soil, groundwater, soil gas, surface water and pore water samples in addition to field parameters.
- Recording of remediation system data, soil logging, and oversight of field surveys, well installation oversight, well development, and utility clearance for intrusive operations.
- Field document preparation, field data collection, processing, and interpretation.
- Supporting office tasks, including data analysis and report preparation.
- Interpret and record data, conduct analyses, compare findings to relevant studies and local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance.
- Travel to project locations including driving and overnight stays.
Requirements
- Conduct field tasks such as site investigations, drilling oversight, and soil and groundwater sample collection.
- Support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects in accordance with CERCLA, RCRA, SCDES, NCDEQ, and other regulatory agencies.
- Provide office support for data management, report preparation, and maintain required AECOM-related documentation and forms.
Additional Information
- Travel to project locations is required, including driving and overnight stays.
- Work will support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects under CERCLA, RCRA, SCDES, NCDEQ, and other regulatory programs.
