About the Role
This role is central to shaping and amplifying the company’s public voice through strategic social media leadership, executive engagement, and data-driven content initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the global social media strategy and maintain the editorial calendar.
- Lead content creation and distribution on key platforms, prioritizing LinkedIn, with additional focus on YouTube, X, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging channels.
- Ensure all content reflects the brand’s voice, market positioning, and target audience needs.
- Identify and test new platforms and tactics to drive growth and engagement.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to strengthen their visibility and influence on social media.
- Write and prepare social content and commentary for executives and key internal contributors.
- Design amplification strategies for thought leadership, including paid campaigns like Thought Leader Ads in coordination with social advertising teams.
- Scale employee advocacy and social selling programs across the organization.
- Empower employees to share and promote important company milestones and messaging.
- Work with recruiting and people teams to enhance the visibility of the employer brand.
- Lead social media activations for product launches, research publications, major events, and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate with global marketing, public relations, regional teams, and design to ensure consistent and effective cross-regional outreach.
- Support live social media coverage during key industry events.
- Monitor audience interactions and engage promptly to maintain a credible and responsive brand presence.
- Gather and share audience insights and feedback to guide marketing and communications strategies.
- Manage and optimize the company’s Sprout Social platform, including governance, tagging, and performance reporting.
- Deliver training and share best practices with global and regional marketing teams.
- Distribute performance insights to improve social content effectiveness company-wide.
Requirements
- 4 to 5 or more years of experience managing social media or communications programs in B2B technology or enterprise software environments.
- Proven experience managing brand presence on LinkedIn and other major social platforms.
- Excellent writing and editorial skills, including experience drafting content for executives.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, public relations, and leadership teams.
- Comfortable using data and performance metrics to shape and refine social media strategy.
- Hands-on experience with Sprout Social or comparable social media management tools.
Nice to Have
- Experience running LinkedIn Thought Leader Ads campaigns is a plus.
