Responsibilities
- Manage rent ledgers, tenant payments, and account reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
- Prepare monthly financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and P&L reports.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow tracking.
- Maintain compliance with U.S. property management accounting standards and procedures.
- Review financial variances and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with property managers to support monthly and year-end closing tasks.
- Maintain digital financial files and ensure documentation accuracy.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in property management accounting.
- Strong proficiency in AppFolio and QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of rent ledgers, reconciliations, AP/AR, and property financial reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a remote environment.
- Must be currently residing in the Philippines or Latin America.
- Must have a stable internet connection and a remote-ready workstation.
Nice to Have
- CPA or U.S. Accounting Certification (preferred but not required).
