About the Role

U-Haul is seeking an Enterprise Strategy Associate to play a central role in charting the firm's growth and development. You will advise the CEO and Supervisory Board on strategic direction and priorities, contributing to high-priority initiatives that define the company's future.

What You'll Do

  • Help define and refine the firm's overall strategy.
  • Contribute to critical strategy work, including M&A and business development.
  • Evaluate entry into new investment spaces and design the preliminary business shape.
  • Brainstorm and help execute on relevant industry partnerships.
  • Brainstorm and help execute on inorganic growth vectors.
  • Assess entrance into or exit from specific geographies.
  • Lead insights creation from market research on our industry, peers, and macro trends.
  • Perform analysis to change or enhance our investment allocation process.

What We're Looking For

  • 2-5 years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or other relevant asset management strategy roles.
  • Demonstrated excellence in analytical reasoning, creativity, and written communications in team-based settings.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with and interest in the private equity or broader private markets landscape.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience, preferably in PE-related professional services.

Team & Environment

You will join a tight, entrepreneurial team and report directly to the CEO and Supervisory Board.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Salary: $113,000 - $157,000
  • Discretionary annual bonus determined by individual and firm performance.
  • Eligibility for long-term reward programs.

Work Mode

This is a hybrid position based in Boston. It includes 18 remote workdays per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval.
