Rockwell Automation needs an Enterprise Software Solutions Sales Executive to drive sales of our comprehensive connected enterprise software suite, including ERP, MES, QMS, and Advanced Analytics, to manufacturing industries. You will report to the Director, Enterprise Software Sales Executives and work remotely from anywhere in Canada.
What You'll Do
- Achieve sales targets and revenue plans for our PLEX software solutions using a disciplined sales process.
- Exceed quota by actively finding, developing, and closing opportunities while working with broader matrixed sales teams.
- Assist in developing project scope and ROI analysis, utilizing value selling to structure commercial deals.
- Leverage selling resources like Technical Consultants, Product Management, and Industry experts as part of your sales strategy.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, regional sales, and Rockwell Automation Information Software.
- Translate technical terms into everyday language and manage expectations internally and externally.
- Provide regular status reports to sales management on forecast, pipeline, and activity.
- Monitor and report revenue and pipeline results weekly via CRM for assigned Verticals or Geographies.
- Develop strong business and financial knowledge of the PLEX offering and its business impact.
- Demonstrate understanding of Manufacturing Software and emerging technology trends to extended sales teams.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant sales experience.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship now or in the future).
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Nice to Have
- 8+ years of experience selling, consulting, or working in manufacturing industries.
- Experience selling software like ERP, MES, QMS, IIoT, or data analytics into manufacturing environments.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, supply chain, computer science, manufacturing IT, business, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to sell subscription software solutions at senior management and executive levels, focusing on business outcomes and economic value.
- Experience selling cloud-based solutions in a SaaS environment.
- Bilingual in English and French.
- Experience utilizing and following detailed sales methodologies.
Team & Environment
You will report to the Director, Enterprise Software Sales Executives and work with broader matrixed Rockwell Automation sales teams, Technical Consultants, Product Management, and Industry experts.

- Total Target Compensation from $260,400 - $390,600 (60% base salary, 40% variable).
