About the Role

BD is hiring an Enterprise Program Manager, a senior staff position responsible for leading multiple concurrent implementation project teams at strategic customer sites. You will partner with BD and customer leadership to execute strategy and deliver a high-quality customer experience while overseeing critical issue resolution for installed products. This role sits within the Professional Services team of Global Customer Service.

What You'll Do

  • Support the strategic direction of BD and provide leadership to product implementation teams at customer sites.
  • Ensure the successful completion of projects for BD product implementation teams.
  • Lead internal and customer program leadership and steering committee status calls, and conduct regular customer executive status calls.
  • Facilitate internal communication and the development and execution of mitigation plans for program risks and issues.
  • Be responsible for strategic customer satisfaction (OSAT & NPS).
  • Develop and report regular program performance metrics to leadership and committees.
  • Optimally use established tools and standards for communicating implementation activities to the executive team.
  • Establish strong relationships at all levels within BD and the customer.
  • Analyze work effort and resources across multiple projects to decrease rework and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Maintain strong industry and product knowledge.
  • Lead enterprise-level customer issues and partner with GCS Service and Support to drive timely resolution of product issues and security concerns.
  • Work with BD Product Platform and Implementation Readiness teams to prioritize customer enhancement requests for future product releases.
  • Support product proactive services and preventative maintenance compliance.
  • Partner with Business Process Manager, Customer Success, and others to support ease of doing business.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions to optimize implementation projects for scope, requirements, financials, and schedule.
  • Anticipate project risks and develop mitigation strategies for sophisticated risk factors.
  • Serve as a mentor and trusted advisor to BD Implementation teams.
  • Present and communicate project status to senior level business management.
  • Provide leadership to resolve conflicts across project team members and customers.
  • Provide governance over technical and solution design, implementation process, and coordination of BD resources.
  • Influence customers to implement enterprise-level standardizations.
  • Work with customers and BD teams to inspire process changes that improve implementation and critical issue processes.
  • Build BD product implementation roadmap plans based on integrations, release compatibility, customer drivers, and goals.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).
  • At least 3+ years of experience leading clinical product or medical device implementation projects in acute care settings.
  • Valid driver's license that meets BD's auto safety standards.
  • Required immunizations: Hepatitis B, Influenza, MMR, Varicella, Annual TB/PPD, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis.
  • COVID-19 vaccination (with potential for accommodation requests per applicable law).
  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time.
  • Must live near a major airport in the U.S.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong grasp of technology and its impact on software deployment.

Nice to Have

  • MBA (beyond the minimum BA/BS requirement).
  • PMP certification.
  • Sophisticated knowledge of project management methodologies and relevant clinical or IT operations.
  • Experience as a change champion and change leader.
  • Proven record as matrix leader of technology and clinical teams.
  • Track record of forming teams in a dynamic, growing company.
  • Experience facilitating strategic discussions for implementation projects.
  • Ability to anticipate project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Experience presenting to senior level business management.
  • Experience with enterprise level standardizations.
  • Ability to build product implementation roadmap plans.

Team & Environment

This role is part of Professional Services within Global Customer Service at BD. Implementation teams include resources from the Project Management Office, Regional Consulting & Installation teams, as well as System and Interface Engineering.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $109,700.00 – $180,800.00 USD Annual.
