In this role, you'll work closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to transform healthcare processes—including enrollment, claims, and eligibility—into robust, interoperable systems.
What You’ll Do
- Define and implement an architectural vision that supports long-term business goals within the healthcare sector
- Translate business requirements into detailed technical designs and system blueprints
- Lead integration efforts across complex platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and system compatibility
- Design scalable, secure solutions using cloud-native principles on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Facilitate collaborative workshops to gather requirements and align stakeholders on solution design
- Develop proof of concepts and evaluate emerging technologies to improve system performance and reliability
- Provide technical mentorship to architects and developers, promoting consistency and best practices
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, security protocols, and healthcare regulations
- Lead risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate technical and operational challenges
- Document architectures, maintain design records, and drive continuous improvement in delivery practices
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years in enterprise or solution architecture with a focus on system design and software development
- Proven experience with microservices, APIs, RESTful services, and service-oriented architecture
- Hands-on background with cloud platforms and DevOps practices, including CI/CD and automation tools
- Direct experience in healthcare data, regulatory standards, and business workflows
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and strong knowledge of data modeling with SQL and NoSQL
- Ability to lead technical teams, present complex concepts to non-technical audiences, and influence strategic decisions
- Preferred certifications in cloud technologies or enterprise architecture
Work Environment
This position supports hybrid work with office locations in Minneapolis and Washington, D.C., requiring four days per week on-site for local hires. Compensation & Benefits
Salary ranges from $110,200 to $188,800 annually, with additional offerings including equity stock purchase, incentive programs, and 401k contributions. Comprehensive benefits and professional development opportunities support long-term growth and well-being.
