Enterprise Account Executive - Indigov West
Role Overview
This is an individual contributor position for a driven sales professional focused on expanding the adoption of a Constituent Relationship Management platform within government organizations. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end sales cycles in a defined geographic region, identifying high-impact opportunities and guiding public sector clients from initial interest through procurement and contract finalization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead revenue generation by developing and executing territory strategies in alignment with cross-functional teams.
- Engage with government stakeholders to assess operational challenges and present tailored solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Manage all stages of the sales pipeline, including prospecting, qualification, demonstration, negotiation, and closing.
- Deliver customized presentations—virtually or in person—to decision-makers and procurement committees.
- Coordinate with internal support, marketing, and technical teams to build compelling proposals and responses.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and sales activities within Salesforce CRM.
- Travel up to 40% of the time to meet clients, attend events, and support field initiatives as needed.
- Provide regular performance updates through quarterly business reviews to leadership and peers.
- Contribute insights to refine go-to-market strategies based on client feedback and market dynamics.
Required Qualifications
- Proven success selling complex SaaS solutions to government or public sector entities.
- Strong track record in meeting or exceeding revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management.
- Skilled in navigating multi-stakeholder sales cycles and building consensus across departments.
- Proficient in using CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, to manage leads and forecast accurately.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience influencing senior-level clients.
- Comfortable using digital tools and AI-enhanced platforms to improve outreach and efficiency.
- Self-directed with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
- Deep understanding of public sector operations and procurement processes is essential.
Work Environment
This role operates in a remote-first setting with optional access to company hubs. Candidates in the Pacific Time Zone are strongly preferred. Some travel is required to support client engagement and team collaboration.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range: USD $105,000 – $125,000 per year, plus performance bonuses.
