As the Enterprise Account Executive for APAC, you will be the first commercial representative in the region, responsible for launching and scaling a high-impact sales motion with global financial institutions. You'll own new logo acquisition and expansion targets across major banks, private equity firms, and asset managers, building a sustainable pipeline from the ground up in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end enterprise sales cycles, from prospecting to multi-year contract close, with Fortune 1000 and regulated financial entities across APAC.
- Establish and refine the regional go-to-market strategy, defining early sales processes, stakeholder engagement models, and cross-functional collaboration norms.
- Develop deep relationships with C-suite and board-level executives, translating advanced AI capabilities into clear business value and strategic ROI.
- Lead discovery initiatives and proof-of-value engagements in coordination with remote Product, Engineering, and GTM teams in the US and EU.
- Navigate complex security, compliance, and legal reviews, including data residency and regulatory requirements unique to APAC markets.
- Partner with post-sales teams to ensure smooth onboarding, adoption, and expansion, even in markets with limited local support infrastructure.
- Represent APAC customer needs and market dynamics to global Product and leadership teams to influence roadmap and strategy.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of experience closing enterprise SaaS deals, including proven success within regulated industries and Fortune 1000 clients, with direct experience selling into APAC organizations.
- Consistent overachievement against $1M+ annual quotas using structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.
- Strong ability to articulate technical AI concepts in business terms for senior executives across diverse cultural and geographic contexts.
- Demonstrated success in greenfield or early-stage market environments, with a self-starter mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity.
- Excellent cross-cultural communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple time zones with global teams.
Preferred Background
- Experience selling to investment banks, private equity, or capital markets teams based in key APAC hubs such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, or Japan.
- Familiarity with large language models, enterprise data privacy standards, and security review processes, including regional data sovereignty requirements.
- Prior role as an early regional hire or market entry leader.
