What You'll Do
Guide the technical direction of stainless-steel valve product lines, focusing on sanitary and liquid-cooling applications. Lead a team of design engineers by assigning tasks, reviewing designs, and fostering professional growth. Drive new product development from concept through to mass production, including design planning, prototyping, validation testing, and reliability assessment.
Conduct structural analysis on critical components such as valve bodies, stems, seats, and seals—evaluating strength, flow dynamics, torque requirements, and material compatibility in alignment with international standards like GB, ISO, ASME, and API. Ensure all technical documentation is accurate and up to date, including BOMs, engineering drawings, specifications, and change notices.
Lead value analysis and value engineering initiatives to optimize cost through material selection, design refinement, and process improvements. Support supplier development for castings, forgings, and machined components, including audit participation and sample validation. Work closely with manufacturing and customer support teams to resolve technical issues and improve product performance.
Stay informed about industry trends and contribute insights to shape the long-term product strategy for valve systems in high-growth markets.
