Carbon Health is hiring an Engineering & Operations Manager to provide overall leadership for mobile and static maintenance engineers within a geographical region. This role is pivotal for ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of engineers performing corrective and preventative maintenance for client facilities.
- Establish standards, work methods, and quality assurance protocols for the team.
- Develop and execute plans to improve departmental efficiency and economy.
- Oversee all engineering functions supporting critical business operations.
- Prioritize client-driven work, preventative maintenance, and special initiatives.
- Monitor team performance against KPIs and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Assist in developing training programs for engineering personnel, covering CMMS, technical systems, and performance management.
- Ensure accurate and timely timecard entry for all regional employees.
- Assess employee performance and potential, and recommend staffing for current and future needs.
What We're Looking For
- A high school degree or approved GED.
- A minimum of five years of experience in the building maintenance field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating and working with documents in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Nice to Have
- A degree in Industrial Maintenance, Engineering, or Management.
- Experience in supervision, planning/scheduling, estimating, and hands-on facilities maintenance.
- Experience with CMMS.
