Asana is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a new team within the Adoption Group. You will build zero-to-one product experiences that help new users explore, understand, and adopt Asana, turning their initial curiosity into long-term engagement.
What You'll Do
- Hire talented engineers and enable the team to scale smoothly.
- Manage and enable the growth of the talented engineers on this new Adoption team.
- Guide the articulation and execution of the team’s future roadmap and ensure the team’s work ties back into high-level business goals.
- Set the team up for success to own several technically challenging and critical projects.
- Coach engineers in their technical and professional development.
- Ensure a great, reliable experience for Asana users globally while enabling a rapid pace of development and iteration.
- Work and learn alongside great peer managers, contributing to the overall culture of Engineering and the growing Warsaw office.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 4+ years managing a technical team.
- Proven success working within growth engineering, activation funnels, or product-led growth (PLG).
- Strong technical foundation in areas like full-stack web development and scalable APIs.
- Focus on maximizing impact for yourself, your team, and Asana as a whole.
- Intelligence, empathy, integrity, and technical ability to quickly earn the trust of a technically astute team.
- Comfort with ambiguity; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done and then doing it.
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies, with a willingness to learn and leverage them.
