What You'll Do
Guide two critical engineering functions: Growth Acquisition and Quality Engineering. Partner closely with Product to design and implement data-driven experiments that directly impact user acquisition and retention. Define meaningful metrics, set up control groups, and use feature management tools to test and refine product changes with precision.
Enhance the customer journey by streamlining onboarding flows and eliminating friction points. Support frontend development using React within scalable AWS environments, ensuring systems are robust and performant. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by expanding test automation, increasing release confidence, and improving delivery consistency.
Champion engineering best practices that prioritize security, resilience, and long-term maintainability. Influence quality standards across teams and help scale engineering effectiveness through disciplined processes and clear technical leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years in software engineering, including direct experience managing technical teams
- Proven track record leading initiatives that impact growth or revenue
- Strong frontend development background, particularly with React, and hands-on AWS experience
- Deep familiarity with A/B testing frameworks, performance analysis, and iterative development
- History of improving team performance, operational rigor, and engineering maturity
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead across functions
