AECOM is hiring an Engineer - Structures, Data Centers

Here is what you will be doing: - Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer, perform detailed structural designs and calculations for structural systems in commercial and industrial fields for both reinforced concrete and structural steel type structures. - When required assist with Revit modelling. - Take responsibility for structural design and drawings. - Be part of a project team, liaise with other professional team members and contractors. - Attend planning, design and site meetings, and ad-hoc site inspections. - Manage less complicated projects - Work to ensure the implementation of safety and integrity principles in structural documentation. - Promote compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all design activities. - Assist with the compilation of bids and proposals. - Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work under pressure and understand the importance of delivery and client satisfaction - Strong analytical, literacy and numerical skills - Good commercial awareness / risk management skills - Good planning and organizational skills
