About the Role

Machinify is seeking a visionary and hands-on Engineer Manager to lead our core product team. In this remote role, you will develop end-to-end AI system services to automate healthcare services and build the next generation of healthcare claims and payment automation products.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the development and production releases of robust web application systems for our Right Payer Solutions product lines.
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality development efforts; monitor and adjust plans to meet objectives.
  • Oversee development leveraging C#.NET, SQL Server, and Angular, and future development in Rust, Java, or Scala.
  • Collaborate effectively with data science and machine learning engineering teams to integrate models and analytics into production systems.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operations and prioritize technology solutions.
  • Champion business process automation and continuous improvement.
  • Foster strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Apply retrospective insights to improve team performance and delivery velocity.
  • Build self-sufficient Agile teams and support individual development through targeted growth plans.
  • Perform code reviews to determine employee productivity.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of combined technical leadership and engineering management experience of high-performing teams.
  • 8+ years of production application development, backend services experience, and developing APIs/micro-services at scale.
  • Proficiency with C#.NET, SQL Server, and Angular, including the ability to evaluate solutions and mentor team members.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages: Python, Rust, Java, or Go.
  • Experience working alongside data science or machine learning engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, including deployment and scalability best practices.
  • Proven project management skills within Agile and Scrum environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Adaptability in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field.
