Responsibilities
- Conducts engineering calculations and supports design development through technical evaluations
- Prepares technical reports, proposals, and professional opinions for review by a licensed engineer
- Applies established engineering methods to analyze, adjust, and validate technical data
- Identifies inconsistencies in results and resolves issues through systematic processes
- Collaborates within project teams to generate technical data and develop applications
- Utilizes Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD to produce engineering drawings and design documentation
- Engages in quality assurance initiatives across the organization
- Completes additional assignments as directed by supervisors
- Develops two-dimensional and three-dimensional models from diverse data sources according to company guidelines
- Creates or modifies detailed engineering layouts based on written or verbal input
- Coordinates with design personnel to exchange technical concepts, data, and project requirements
- Manages individual work tasks while aligning with project scope, timeline, and budget constraints
- Executes fundamental engineering calculations for civil infrastructure components using Civil 3D
- Supports engineering activities on projects with varying levels of complexity
- Helps gather and validate technical data to inform design decisions
- Conducts analyses of proposed designs to assess structural integrity, efficiency, and cost performance
- Assists in construction administration by reviewing plans and incorporating field-based feedback
