Optum is looking for an Engagement Management Analyst to partner with the engagement management office, Sales Executives, and Sales Leaders within the Provider Growth organization. You will support the sales process and ensure smooth, effective operations to help maximize sales time and fulfill growth objectives.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Solution Sales Executives to support business activities throughout the sales cycle.
- Manage a deal support request form to field and triage incoming requests.
- Promote consistent processes and ensure standards for deal flow are met.
- Provide tactical support around deals including client materials and process adherence.
- Facilitate timely execution from matrix partners at key milestone points within the deal cycle.
- Collaborate on Salesforce processes and serve as an SME for Sales & Market Teams.
- Optimize existing sales processes and remove barriers to ensure the Sales team is set up for success.
- Complete Sales team requests through the Provider Support Inbox.
- Support pursuit planning and strategy by leveraging resources like opportunity plans.
- Maintain Salesforce data hygiene.
- Act as a subject matter expert on enterprise initiatives and steward associated resources.
- Attend and support deal scoping calls and coordinate outlying steps.
- Analyze current sales processes to identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
- Create and monitor product process consistencies to drive a more effective sales approach.
- Comply with the terms of the employment contract, company policies, and directives.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of project management, sales, client management, client support, or market research experience.
- 3+ years operating within Salesforce.
- Experience working in a matrixed team environment.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Salesforce.
- Demonstrated solid customer service ethic.
- Demonstrated excellent communication and listening skills.
- Proven excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
Nice to Have
- Background working in the US healthcare industry.
- History of bid management & RFP support or sales operations.
- Proficient in SmartSheets.
