Southern California Edison is looking for an Energy Delivery and Distribution Specialist to play a key role in powering our planet and creating cleaner air for everyone. You will provide essential support for the scheduling, execution, and completion of all work flowing through your district, directly contributing to our clean energy mission.
What You'll Do
- Prepare presentations for meetings such as Tacticals and Regional Grid Team Meetings.
- Close out work orders in SAP and CLICK, and monitor, track, schedule, and close out MSRs.
- Research and validate information across several programs to ensure work orders progress through the IPSEC process.
- Support and promote energy safety programs, including monitoring public safety around energy delivery facilities.
- Monitor work performance and quality based on analysis and performance metrics.
- Perform data modeling studies, develop detailed data models, and maintain data model and entity relationship diagrams.
- Report and correct data and transaction details, translating analysis into actionable insights for stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Ensure equipment systems meet organization and industry standards and maintain project documentation.
- Schedule maintenance, trouble operations, service restoration, metering operations, or operations planning work.
- Monitor and confirm the accuracy and completeness of work orders, verifying necessary documents for compliance.
- Ensure the protection of all physical, financial, and cybersecurity assets, and manage sensitive information with the highest integrity.
What We're Looking For
- Three or more years of experience in energy delivery and distribution.
Nice to Have
- Two or more years of experience coordinating with construction crew schedulers.
- Two or more years of experience working with key systems like Click, SAP, Work It, Arc GIS, or SAS.
- Experience and proficiency navigating and identifying key information within SAP.
- Experience and proficiency navigating and identifying key information within ClickSchedule.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- One or more years of experience performing advanced Excel functions like VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Mathematical Computations.
- Experience analyzing data and large data sets from a variety of sources.
