Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a range of endocrine system disorders
- Manage various forms of diabetes, including type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes
- Diagnose and treat conditions affecting the thyroid gland
- Address disorders of the adrenal glands and pituitary gland
- Provide care for patients with osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases
- Manage lipid abnormalities and metabolic syndrome
- Interpret laboratory results, imaging studies, and dynamic endocrine testing
- Coordinate treatment plans with primary care providers and other specialists
- Educate patients on managing chronic endocrine conditions
- Ensure complete, accurate, and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Engage in quality assurance activities and team-based case reviews
