Dungarvin is looking for an Employment Specialist to provide client-driven case management services focused on eliminating barriers to employment. In this full-time, non-remote role, you will work daily from the office and in the community to assist clients in obtaining and retaining independent, gainful employment. What You'll Do

Maintain an in-depth knowledge of DDA (Developmental Disabilities Administration) and DVR (Division of Vocational Rehabilitation).
Conduct assessments and interviews with clients to determine eligibility.
Discover and maintain knowledge of clients' employment goals, potential employer matches, and other case management needs.
Assist clients to assess and further their career growth and skills.
Help clients obtain gainful employment at wages at or above minimum wage.
Provide ongoing soft and hard skills development to support clients in obtaining and retaining independent employment.
Document data and notes to track individual progress toward goals on barrier, employment, and service plans.
Build and maintain strong community partnerships with other service providers and employers.
Represent Compass at professional meetings, community events, and to members of the community.
Attend and actively participate in scheduled internal and external meetings.
Travel throughout the area and provide transportation to clients as needed.
Use assigned technology, including laptop, cell phone, and designated software, as directed in the community.

What We're Looking For

A high school diploma or GED.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
One year of related experience and/or training working with people in crisis, specifically in employment services.
A valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to a vehicle insured for you as a driver.
Self-starter with excellent time management skills and proactive problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Technology savvy, especially with Microsoft Office Applications and Zoom on PC and Android devices.
Ability to perform CPR/First Aid as needed.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to Have

Bachelor’s degree in the social service field.
