As an Employee Benefits Sales Executive, you'll grow small-group benefits business by cultivating trusted relationships with independent brokers and agencies. Based in the Nashville area, you’ll blend virtual outreach with in-person engagement to promote group life, disability, and supplemental health offerings, positioning the organization as a strategic, long-term partner.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement a territory-specific sales strategy to expand profitable small-group accounts
- Build consultative partnerships with independent producers, focusing on education and long-term collaboration
- Generate demand by clearly communicating product value, tools, and support resources
- Develop a consistent, high-quality sales pipeline through proactive outreach and follow-up
- Balance independent initiative with alignment to broader team objectives and market goals
Requirements
- Must live within the TN market area
- Hold an active Accident, Health & Life Insurance license, or obtain one within three months of start date
- Demonstrate ability to manage a self-directed sales approach while staying connected to team priorities
- Show comfort with high-volume virtual selling and digital communication tools
- Bring a structured, customer-centric mindset to every interaction
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or related sales fields
- Background in group benefits or agency distribution models
- Proven ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and close opportunities
Benefits
- $60,000 base salary with total earnings potential between $120,000 and $180,000, including bonuses and incentives
