About the Role

The role involves monitoring and managing email inboxes, responding to customer inquiries, and maintaining organized records of communications in a fast-paced support environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor designated email inboxes throughout the workday
  • Respond to customer messages with accurate and clear information
  • Categorize and prioritize incoming emails based on urgency and content
  • Maintain consistency in tone and messaging across all replies
  • Follow documented procedures for common customer issues
  • Escalate complex cases to appropriate internal teams
  • Update internal systems with customer interaction details
  • Ensure response times meet defined service level agreements
  • Identify recurring customer questions and suggest process improvements
  • Adhere to data privacy and confidentiality standards
  • Collaborate with team members on shared inbox management
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings
  • Report technical issues related to email systems
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of company products and policies
  • Track and log customer interactions in support software
  • Handle sensitive customer information with discretion
  • Work within established email handling guidelines
  • Manage multiple email threads simultaneously
  • Ensure all customer communications are professional and helpful
  • Follow up on unresolved messages until closure
  • Contribute to improving email response templates
  • Maintain accuracy in all written communications
  • Stay current with changes in support processes
  • Use internal documentation to resolve customer inquiries
  • Support team goals for productivity and quality

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate based on experience

Work Arrangement

Remote, full-time, EST time zone required

Team

Part of a distributed customer support team handling high-volume email correspondence

Schedule

  • Work hours are aligned with Eastern Standard Time
  • Full-time position with set daily shifts
  • Availability during weekdays required
  • Occasional weekend coverage may be needed
  • Consistent schedule provided in advance
