Role Overview
Join a mission-focused independent practitioner as an Email Marketing & Squarespace Automation Specialist. This is a part-time, remote position requiring approximately 2–5 hours per week, with flexibility to scale during high-activity periods. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving digital outreach systems, ensuring campaigns are effective, automated processes run smoothly, and online content remains current and cohesive.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and refine email campaigns using Squarespace and associated email platforms
- Develop and manage automated email sequences, including welcome flows and lead nurturing paths
- Enhance existing email templates for improved readability, visual alignment, and brand consistency
- Set up and maintain landing pages integrated with QR codes for live events and workshops
- Update and manage website content on Squarespace, including blog posts, service pages, and resource sections
- Ensure all digital assets follow brand guidelines for typography, layout, and visual tone
- Conduct thorough pre-publishing reviews to verify links, mobile responsiveness, and formatting accuracy
- Support the creation and formatting of downloadable resources such as PDF guides and worksheets
- Assist with backend marketing setup and system integrations as needed
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven track record in managing live email marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Clear ability to explain past campaign strategies and performance outcomes
- Direct experience with email tools such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or ConvertKit
- Hands-on familiarity with Squarespace, including editing pages, managing content, and configuring email features
- Understanding of automation logic, trigger-based workflows, and drip campaign design
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word for document formatting and layout
- Basic design sense, with experience in Canva or similar tools
- Ability to learn new platforms independently and troubleshoot minor technical issues
- Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and clear written communication
- Self-directed work style with reliable time management
- Technically adaptable and comfortable navigating digital systems efficiently
