Indiana Digital Learning School is hiring an Elementary Interventionist to support our mission of providing an exemplary, individualized education. In this remote, full-time role, you will work with our ‘At-Risk’ student population to provide remediation, support academic goals, and increase growth. This position requires the ability to work independently for 40+ hours per week.
What You'll Do
- Modify and adapt the K12 curriculum to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Collaborate with general education teachers through individualized and small group sessions.
- Educate parents on various instructional strategies.
- Ensure implementation of the RTI instructional system to increase student achievement.
- Oversee data collection and progress monitoring; use data to help teachers plan instruction.
- Provide guidance to teachers on identifying and grouping students who need additional help.
- Collect and maintain all RTI data, including lists of eligible students and intervention plans.
- Serve as a daily resource to administrators and school leadership teams on RTI issues.
- Collaborate with homeroom teachers, advisors, counselors, and district personnel to coordinate Tier 2 interventions.
- Provide ongoing training and support to staff regarding RTI implementation and data collection.
- Support teachers in documenting student progress.
- Work with the special education team to facilitate eligibility for special education.
- Travel up to 20% of the time for professional development, testing, and school requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active state teaching license.
- Ability to clear required background check.
- Ability to collaboratively interpret and produce numeric and graphic student data to drive instruction.
- Receptiveness to regular coaching from administrators and teacher trainers.
- Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and teaching platforms.
- Ability to maintain teacher certification and fluency in K12 systems and curriculum.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with the proposed age group.
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.
- Experience teaching in an online or brick-and-mortar environment.
- Experience with online learning platforms.

Work Mode
This is a remote position. Candidates must reside in Indiana, though consideration may be given to residents of surrounding states (Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, or Illinois).
