About the Role
The technician will support the setup, testing, and decommissioning of electronic equipment, following safety protocols and technical guidelines to ensure operational integrity.
Responsibilities
- Install electronic systems according to project specifications
- Perform routine testing and diagnostics on equipment
- Verify proper operation of installed components
- Document installation and service activities
- Dispose of outdated or non-functional electronics following environmental regulations
- Follow ESA compliance procedures during all phases of work
- Troubleshoot malfunctions in electronic assemblies
- Support field technicians during deployment
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Adhere to safety standards when handling electrical systems
- Use hand and power tools for equipment assembly
- Interpret technical schematics and diagrams
- Assist in system upgrades and retrofits
- Respond to service requests in a timely manner
- Coordinate with project leads for task prioritization
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive components
- Participate in quality assurance checks
- Report technical issues to supervising engineers
- Follow change management protocols for system modifications
- Support compliance audits with complete documentation
