SEH is hiring an Electrical Technician

About the Role

As an Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in shaping the electrical systems of varied facilities—from high-rise buildings to water and wastewater plants. You'll create detailed design solutions and construction documentation, ensuring systems are efficient, safe, and code-compliant.

What You'll Do

  • Design electrical systems for commercial, industrial, municipal, and utility projects
  • Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Collaborate with engineers and design teams across disciplines
  • Support projects from initial planning through construction documentation
  • Participate in field surveys, site observations, and client interactions when required

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electrical System Design or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
  • Experience with lighting design, voltage drop calculations, and power distribution systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Five or more years of hands-on electrical design experience
  • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple project teams
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits, and client engagements
  • Experience producing full electrical construction documentation

Work Mode

This is an onsite position. Candidates must be located outside the following states: AK, AR, CA, CT, DE, HI, KY, MA, RI, VT, and PR.
