As an Electrical Technician, you will play a key role in shaping the electrical systems of varied facilities—from high-rise buildings to water and wastewater plants. You'll create detailed design solutions and construction documentation, ensuring systems are efficient, safe, and code-compliant.
What You'll Do
- Design electrical systems for commercial, industrial, municipal, and utility projects
- Prepare construction drawings and technical specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
- Collaborate with engineers and design teams across disciplines
- Support projects from initial planning through construction documentation
- Participate in field surveys, site observations, and client interactions when required
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Electrical System Design or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
- Familiarity with electrical codes and standards
- Experience with lighting design, voltage drop calculations, and power distribution systems
Preferred Qualifications
- Five or more years of hands-on electrical design experience
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple project teams
- Willingness to travel for meetings, site visits, and client engagements
- Experience producing full electrical construction documentation
