Lundin Gold Inc. is looking for an Electrical Technician / Electrician to ensure the reliability and safety of all electrical systems within our underground mining operations. In this critical role, you will perform installation, maintenance, and repair tasks to maximize operational continuity and efficiency.

What You'll Do

Repair, maintain, and install all electrical equipment involved in mining operations.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, including pumping, ventilation, and distribution systems.
Identify and assess critical risks in the underground mine, implementing preventive measures to minimize hazards.
Manage inventory, control, and inspection of materials, electrical equipment, and PPE in related warehouses.
Continuously report on work performed, findings, and resource requirements for repairs.
Care for and inspect all resources assigned for electrical maintenance, including machines, tools, and PPE.
Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses according to company health, safety, and environment guidelines.
Maintain order and cleanliness in workshops and associated warehouses.
Operate a telehandler to perform electrical installations when required.

What We're Looking For

A completed degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Technology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
Essential experience in medium and high voltage work.
Work experience in heavy machinery maintenance.
Knowledge of grounding protection devices, components, and operation for both low- and medium-voltage circuits.
Knowledge of pumping system operation and fault identification.
Understanding of substation risk matrices for system intervention.
A Certificate in occupational risk prevention related to electrical energy.
A Type B driver's license is essential.
