Lundin Gold Inc. is hiring an Electrical Technician to ensure the operational continuity and efficiency of all electrical systems supporting our underground mining activities. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment, performing both preventive and corrective tasks.

What You'll Do

Repair, maintain, and install all electrical equipment involved in mining operations.
Maintain order and cleanliness in the workshops and warehouses associated with the electrical workshop.
Identify and assess critical risks underground and implement preventive measures to minimize hazards.
Manage inventory, control, and inspection of materials, electrical equipment, and PPE in the electrical workshop warehouses.
Perform all maintenance activities according to an assigned route, including repairs and inspections of pumping, ventilation, and electrical distribution systems.
Continuously report on work performed and findings related to equipment repair needs, detailing time and materials required.
Care for and inspect all resources assigned for electrical maintenance tasks, including machines, tools, accessories, instruments, and PPE.
Report all accidents, incidents, and near misses, following Lundin Gold's Health, Safety, and Environment guidelines.
Understand and apply the policies and standards of conduct established by the company.
If authorized, operate a telehandler to perform electrical installations in the mine.

What We're Looking For

Completed degree in Electrical and/or Electronic Technology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
Essential experience in medium and high voltage work.
Work experience in heavy machinery maintenance.
Knowledge of grounding protection devices, components, and operation.
Knowledge of the irrigation matrix of secondary substations for system intervention.
Knowledge of normal pumping system operation and system fault identification.
Knowledge of the main substation risk matrix for system intervention.
Knowledge of components and operation of ground protection systems in medium-voltage circuits.
Knowledge of components and operation of ground protection systems in low-voltage circuits.
Certificate in occupational risk prevention - electrical energy.
Type B driver's license (essential).
