RemoteVA PH is looking for an Electrical Takeoff Specialist to perform accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and assist in preparing electrical cost estimates. This role is central to delivering precise material and cost analysis for our commercial and residential electrical projects.
What You'll Do
- Review electrical plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Perform detailed electrical material takeoffs for lighting, power, conduit, wiring, panels, and devices.
- Measure conduit and cable lengths accurately.
- Identify symbols, legends, and electrical systems on drawings.
- Organize takeoff quantities by system and area.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates and bids.
- Collaborate with project managers and estimators.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all takeoff data.
What We're Looking For
- Experience performing electrical takeoffs for construction projects.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Proficiency in takeoff tools such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or OST.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with NEC standards.
