WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION: Project Oversight: - Administer a diverse project portfolio spanning various scales and monetary values, guaranteeing comprehensive success from initial concept through post-implementation stages. Design Coordination: - Review sales transition documents to confirm design precision, scope compatibility, and operational feasibility. - Guide the development and validation of Structural Design Packages, leading a team of CAD and Structural Design Engineers. - Partner with Lead Electrical Engineer to construct Electrical Design Packages, ensuring complete integration of client requirements. Change and Quality Management: - Process and integrate feedback from stakeholders including customers, professional engineers, and regulatory bodies, issuing detailed revision instructions to CAD teams. - Implement comprehensive quality control protocols and systematic reviews to guarantee production readiness. Supply Chain and Scheduling: - Track procurement timelines and delivery schedules for specialized non-standard components, proactively mitigating potential disruptions with purchasing personnel. - Provide consistent schedule communications to clients, including delay notifications and timeline acceleration strategies. Production and Delivery Coordination: - Collaborate with manufacturing supervisors to ensure punctual production and superior quality outcomes. - Coordinate with Site and Delivery Coordinators to manage transportation logistics, secure essential permits, and facilitate safe client site delivery. Customer Service: - Serve as primary client interface for post-delivery service concerns, including HVAC performance, material discrepancies, or transportation-related damages. - Monitor and resolve service tickets comprehensively, ensuring timely and effective support. Change Order Management: - Generate and distribute change orders, collaborating with Estimating Department and Lead Electrical Engineer to provide updated pricing and scope modifications, supporting Finance team in account and purchase order reconciliation. YOU HAVE: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Engineering, Business Management, or related disciplines. - 5+ years professional experience preferred. - Electrical background or Project Management expertise in Manufacturing/Commercial/Industrial electrical projects. - Comprehensive knowledge of electrical wiring, components, and schematic systems. - Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC). - Experience in electrical distribution, controls, or automation. - Switchgear application expertise with low and medium voltage configurations. - SolidWorks proficiency preferred. - Microsoft Office suite competency. - Previous manufacturing experience in transmission & distribution, oil & gas, or sheet metal design sectors preferred. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with cross-level influence capabilities. - Strong leadership and project management competencies. - Ability to effectively multitask in dynamic environments.
