Outsourcing Advantage is hiring an Electrical Estimator to perform detailed takeoffs and prepare cost estimates from architectural plans. You will be responsible for ensuring estimates are accurate and comprehensive for a variety of electrical projects.
What You'll Do
- Review and analyze architectural plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine project requirements.
- Prepare accurate takeoff quantities for materials, labor, and overhead cost estimates.
- Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to gather information and clarify project specifications.
- Develop and maintain estimation databases and templates for efficiency.
- Ensure all estimates are submitted on time to meet project deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, at a level of C1 Advanced or higher.
- Proven experience as an estimator or in a similar role, ideally within the construction or architectural industry.
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
