AECOM is hiring an Electrical Engineering Intern - Mining and Industrial (Nov 2026)

Supported by experienced engineers, industry experts and a global network of technical specialists, you'll develop your technical, professional and project delivery skills while gaining exposure to all phases of engineering projects, from feasibility studies and concept design through to detailed engineering and project delivery. How you'll make a difference: - Support the delivery of electrical and instrumentation engineering projects across the mining, industrial and transport sectors while learning from experienced engineers. - Assist with the preparation of technical reports, calculations, specifications, drawings and other project documentation. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, civil, structural and process engineers, to contribute to project outcomes. - Learn how engineering principles, industry standards and best practices are applied to develop safe, practical and sustainable solutions. - Participate in site visits, inspections and commissioning activities to gain practical industry experience. - Contribute to project planning, coordination and technical tasks while building your understanding of project delivery. - Participate in project meetings and learning opportunities to develop your technical knowledge and professional skills.
