Mindrift is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join as a Freelance AI Trainer. This project-based role focuses on testing, evaluating, and improving AI systems for leading tech companies. You will work on tasks involving the design of electrical engineering problems, evaluation of AI solutions, and validation using Python.
What You'll Do
- Design rigorous electrical engineering problems reflecting professional practice.
- Evaluate AI solutions for correctness, assumptions, and constraints.
- Validate calculations or simulations using Python (NumPy, Pandas, SciPy).
- Improve AI reasoning to align with industry-standard logic.
- Apply structured scoring criteria to multi-step problems.
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields (e.g., Electronics, Microelectronics, Embedded Systems, Power Systems, etc.)
- 3+ years of professional electrical engineering experience
- Strong written English (C1/C2)
- Strong Python proficiency for numerical validation
- Stable internet connection
Nice to Have
- Professional certifications (e.g., PE, CEng, EUR ING, RPEQ)
- Experience in international or applied projects

Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
- Rate: Up to $13 per hour equivalent, depending on level and pace of contribution.
Work Mode
This is a global, fully remote role. Work is project-based, with an estimated 10–20 hours per week during active phases (hours are not guaranteed).
