Syska Hennessy Group is hiring an Electrical Engineer II - IV

Responsibilities

  • Conducts field inspections to determine existing conditions and to coordinate new work then assists Senior Engineer in preparation of due diligence, feasibility, gap analysis and other technical reports and drawings.
  • Coordinates with other disciplines and work in close contact with the entire design team
  • Creates basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer perform equipment selections, load/energy and pressure drop calculations for a variety of projects and project sizes.
  • Master's drawing organization format and company standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
  • Minimum 18 months to 3.5+ years’ experience working in a consulting firm
  • EIT certification as an Electrical Engineer
  • Candidate should possess a strong ability to coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, electrical, and telecom, as well as its constructability and cost
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and REVIT experience

Nice to Have

  • LEED AP accreditation
  • Experience working in a consulting firm on healthcare projects
  • Capability to fully design electrical systems for various building types including commercial, mixed-use, mission critical, life science and R+D facilities
  • Mission Critical, Science + Technology, Healthcare, and Project Management experience
