As an Electrical Designer, you'll play a key role in developing comprehensive electrical solutions for complex building systems, industrial installations, and high-performance data centers. Your work will directly support energy-efficient, future-ready designs that align with strict Swiss and European regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed low and high voltage electrical system designs for residential, industrial, and mission-critical facilities
- Create 2D technical drawings using AutoCAD and build 3D models through Revit within a BIM framework
- Produce schematic diagrams for power distribution, emergency systems, and safety circuits
- Design and document multipole electrical panel layouts
- Perform lighting simulations and calculations using Relux CAD-Revit
- Size high-voltage components with specialized tools including Integra Excel and Schneider Electric software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into broader project designs
- Support junior designers and contribute to team coordination when required
What You Bring
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in electrical system design
- Degree or vocational qualification in electrical engineering or a related field
- Proven background in data center and industrial facility projects
- Strong grasp of redundancy, control systems, and integration principles
- Familiarity with SIA-EN standards and CDE (Common Data Environment) workflows
- Fluency in English at B2 level or higher
- Ability to work independently and manage complex tasks in a structured way
- Experience with multidisciplinary coordination and project collaboration
Preferred Experience
- 8–12 years in electrical design roles
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and generating Bills of Quantities from BIM models
- Leadership potential to guide small design teams in the future
- Knowledge of Italian or German languages
- Proven ability to work remotely and autonomously in distributed environments
