Join McCain as an Electrical Commissioning Engineer specializing in Drives and Excitation Systems. You will lead the commissioning of critical power electronic systems for large-scale power plants or industrial plants worldwide, taking responsibility from configuration through start-up and troubleshooting.
What You'll Do
- Lead commissioning of generator excitation and/or frequency converter systems.
- Take responsibility for configuring, testing, start-up, and commissioning of excitation and drive systems including auxiliaries.
- Work on large scale power plants or industrial plants worldwide.
- Collaborate with Commissioning Engineers and Customers of various backgrounds and expertise.
- Troubleshoot problems on excitation and converters in collaboration with other technical experts.
What We're Looking For
- Electrical Technician or Engineering degree.
- Hands-on experience with commissioning power electronic equipment of proven manufacturers.
- Willingness to work internationally on challenging commissioning projects.
- You are a team player and do well with interactions with customers/co-workers/etc. of other cultures.
- Ability to communicate in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with established products in this field (for instance Siemens RG3-S, ABB Unitrol, GE LS2100 etc.).
