Responsibilities
- Support the project manager in daily operational and administrative functions for construction projects.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, and monitoring RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs.
- Help develop weekly schedules, manpower forecasts, material delivery timelines, and long-lead item tracking.
- Attend internal and external project meetings and produce summaries, notes, and action items.
- Maintain precise project records and ensure timely dissemination of updates to all stakeholders.
- Join site walkthroughs with project leadership to monitor progress and confirm installation adherence to specifications.
- Document field conditions, track work completion percentages, and report potential schedule delays.
- Coordinate with field teams to align on project objectives, safety protocols, and execution strategies.
- Support tracking of labor utilization, equipment deployment, and material expenditures.
- Review purchase orders, delivery documentation, and subcontractor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Help compile weekly project summaries and cost forecasts for senior leadership review.
- Facilitate communication among clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal electrical teams.
- Represent the company professionally during interactions with external partners.
- Uphold safety standards during all site visits in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure all project work complies with NEC regulations, local codes, and internal quality benchmarks.
- Assist in project closeout activities such as punch list tracking, as-built documentation, and turnover package preparation.
- Manage the change control process across active projects to ensure timely identification and processing of scope changes.
- Support project manager in monitoring schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
- Help coordinate procurement efforts, including submittals, RFIs, and change orders.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and ensure records are current and compliant.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality, and verify safety compliance.
- Collaborate with supervisors, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
- Assist in preparing regular reports, progress updates, and final project documentation.
- Participate in pre-construction planning, including constructability assessments and schedule reviews.
- Ensure all project activities meet internal standards and client expectations.

- Work Environment: Work is performed primarily on active construction sites with ongoing electrical and general construction activities
- Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, rain, and humidity
- Exposure to typical construction site conditions such as noise, dust, vibration, and moving equipment
- May work near energized equipment, elevated work areas, excavations, and confined or restricted spaces in compliance with OSHA safety procedures
- Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and other environmental conditions common to construction sites
- Work may require occasional travel between multiple project sites
- Physical Requirements: Frequently walk active construction sites, including uneven surfaces and unfinished structures
- Occasionally climb stairs, ladders, or temporary access systems in compliance with OSHA requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, or reach as necessary to observe work activities and inspect conditions
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and subcontractors in person and over the phone or radio
- Occasionally lift, carry, or move materials or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without assistance
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, high-visibility clothing, and fall protection equipment when required
