About the Role
The individual in this role will conduct thorough reviews of enhanced due diligence submissions, verifying completeness and adherence to applicable guidelines, and will collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and support ongoing compliance efforts.
Responsibilities
- Review enhanced due diligence packages for accuracy and completeness
- Verify customer information against regulatory requirements
- Identify and escalate potential risks or red flags
- Maintain detailed records of review activities
- Collaborate with onboarding teams to resolve documentation gaps
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Respond to requests for additional information in a timely manner
- Support audit preparation by providing accurate documentation
- Follow established procedures for customer risk assessment
- Communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Stay current with changes in compliance standards
- Assist in training new team members when needed
- Monitor case status and meet established service level expectations
- Use internal systems to track and update case progress
- Escalate complex cases according to defined protocols
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer data
- Work cross-functionally to support compliance objectives
- Apply critical thinking to assess documentation quality
- Ensure consistent application of due diligence standards
- Contribute to team goals through reliable performance
- Follow escalation paths for suspicious activity
- Support periodic reviews of existing customer relationships
- Document rationale for approval or rejection decisions
- Adhere to established turnaround timeframes for case resolution
